CUMC Upward Basketball and Cheerleading is open to children Kindergarten - 6th grade. League breakdown is as follows.

All practices and games will be held at the Christian Life Center. 5th & 6th grade leagues will play on Friday night, and Saturday as needed. All other leagues will play on Saturdays.

Sunday October 12	Early registration begins for Players and Cheerleaders Online registration is no longer available. Please register at the Christian Life Center Click here to download a paper registration form (basketball and Cheer) (cash or check only) paper registration forms should be brought to the CLC
Sunday November 9	Early registration and coaches discounts end. Fee increases by $20
Friday November 21 6:00 PM	Evaluation #1 All basketball players should attend ONE evaluation. Cheerleaders should attend only to try on a uniform for sizing.
Saturday November 22 10:00 AM	Evaluations #2 All basketball players should attend ONE evaluation. Cheerleaders should attend only to try on a uniform for sizing.
Saturday December 6 at 10:00 AM	Mandatory Coaches Training All coaches should attend, including returning coaches. The training will last until Noon. You will receive your team roster and practice night. The final half hour of the training will be a discussion between the coaches and refs about the upcoming league
Saturday December 6 at 11:30 AM	Mandatory Referee Training
Week of December 8	Practices begin
December 22 - January 4	No practices
Week of January 5	Practices resume
January 9 and 10	Begin 8 weeks of games. 5th and 6th graders play on Friday nights. Games begin at 9:00 AM on Saturdays and start with Kindergarten, with older kids playing later in the day.
January 16 and 17	Picture Day Each team will have their picture taken 45 minutes before their scheduled game. Please come with paperwork completed.
March 6	Celebration Night
